Here is what I am talking about.

Last year, Congress passed a new version of the nation’s fisheries law, known as the Magnuson-Stevens Act. Because federal regulators have incomplete information on how many fish are caught by recreational fishermen, the revised act requires a federal registry of ocean anglers by 2009. A federal license, which is expected to cost around $30, would be required in 2011 if a state registry or licensing system is not already in place.

If we have to pay for fishing, I want NJ to impose the license so we can benefit from it. My take on this would be to implement a combination salt/fresh license. To do nothing means the Feds will get the money starting in 2011.

					<description>No way...enough is enough.  If you really believe that fishing licenses would help anglers in the state of NJ, I believe you are so wrong.  Not now. Not in the long run.  Our government would figure out a way to screw this up.  I agree with with Tony Gallagher...and I am from NJ.  Let's at least keep this one attraction free.</description>
